Bio

Darby Ford is from Louisville, KY.  She began her acting career in elementary school plays at St. Agnes and transitioned into on-camera acting as a high school student at Presentation Academy.  She loves comedy and enjoys making people laugh.  Her favorite comedians include Jim Carey and Monty Python.

Besides acting, Darby loves dogs, music, manga and anime.  She reads music and plays a little piano, and she has a purple belt in karate.  She is also an avid video gamer. Darby’s preferred form of exercise is catching Pokemon around Los Angeles. Her favorite foods are steak – the rarer the better – and sushi.

Darby, her parents and two older siblings are a close family; they enjoy playing games, watching movies and traveling together.

Darby now lives in Los Angeles, where she studies acting at Scott Sedita Acting Studios, Krater Studios and Talent House Academy.  She takes private acting lessons from Disney and Nickelodeon director Wendy Faraone, as well as voice lessons from Joy Graysen. Darby is represented by The ESI Network and BBA Talent for commercial and theatrical acting.
